Title of the grant competition: Divorce Prevention and Minimization of Impacts of the Divorce on the Child during the Divorce and Immediately after the Divorce

Objectives of the grant competition:

• Prevention of family break up at risk of divorce
• Support for children and parents during the divorce process and immediately after it
• Support of experts within an interdisciplinary team managing the divorce
• Support of systemic and support measures in the process management

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic the grant competition was after the thorough consideration prematurely terminated without selecting supported projects. 

2018

Title of the grant competition:  Early Support and Hepl for Pregnant Women at Risk

Objectives of the grant competition:

• The early detection and assistance to vulnerable women to create situable conditions for the optimal development of their children
• The finding and pilot verification new forms of the early detection and help to endangered pregnant woman

Out of the total of 7 grant proposals, 3 projects were selected, among which CZK 2,504,480 were distributed, projects implementation between 2019 and 2020.

2017

Title of the grant competition:  Early Support for the Children at Risk and Their Family

Objectives of the grant competition:

• The early detection and support to the needy children and their families
• The finding and pilot verification new forms of the early detection of the needy child and the evaluation of their succes

Out of the total of 22 grant proposals, 3 projects were selected, among which CZK 3,222,190 were distributed, projects implementation between 2018 and 2021.

2016

Title of the grant competition:  Support for Improving of the Quality of Work of Accompanying Organizations in the Area of Foster Care

Objectives of the grant competition:

• The improving the quality of work of accompanying organizations with the effect of ensuring the better support for foster parents
• The finding or the creation the good practice of accompany with the coinsideration of specific needs of the children in the foster care
• The sharing the experience between the organizations dealing with the accompanying issues

Out of the total of 11 grant proposals, 5 projects were selected, among which CZK 2,616,899 were distributed, projects implementation between 2017 and 2019.

2015

Title of the grant competition: Support for Young People Aged out of Foster Care

Objectives of the grant competition:

• Direct support of young people aged out of foster care
• Support, development, availability and quality of services for young people aged out of foster care.
• Finding effective and functional ways of preventing failures of young people aged out of foster care

Out of the total of 37 grant proposals, 5 projects were selected, among which CZK 9,339,000 were distributed, projects implementation between 2016 and 2018.

2013

Title of the grant competition:  Early Support for Families and Children during Diagnostic Process and Adaptation to the Child’s Disability

Objectives of the grant competition:

• proposal and testing of the system of detection of children with disabilities
• elaboration of techniques, tools and methodologies for successful adaptation of a disabled child and their family
• processing of findings and proposals for adjustments in the related systems

Out of the total of 46 grant proposals, 4 projects were selected among which CZK 15,993,000 were distributed, projects implementation between 2014 and 2018.

2011

Title of the grant competition: Support for Child Protection Workers in Care for Vulnerable Children

Objectives of the grant competition:

• creation of educational programmes for Child Protection Workers
• training of child protection workers

The total of 13 grant proposals were registered in the grant competition. No grant was awarded as there were no guarantees of successful implementation of the projects.

2010

Title of the grant competition: Provision of Support Services for Families of Children with Disabilities

Objectives of the grant competition:

• development of services for families of children with various disabilities
• provision of additional information for families of children with disabilities
• raising the public’s awareness

Out of the total of 37 grant proposals, 6 projects were selected among which CZK 12,729,000 were distributed, projects implementation between 2011 and 2013.

2009

Title of the grant competition: Development of Foster Family Care in the Czech Republic

Objectives of the grant competition:

• full psychological and social development in foster family care
• methodical preparation of foster parents
• systemic changes in the concept of services in foster family care

Out of the total of 16 grant proposals, 3 projects were selected among which CZK 11,495,000 were distributed, projects implementation between 2010 and 2013.

2008

Title of the grant competition: Improvement of Services for Families - Rehabilitation of Vulnerable Families

Objectives of the grant competition:

• creation of a system of services for vulnerable families
• creation of methodology of work with vulnerable families

Out of the total of 82 grant proposals, 5 projects were selected, among which CZK 11,853,000 were distributed, projects implementation between 2009 and 2011.
